The topics included in the book are based on the SCMAD exam objectives provided by Sun Microsystems Inc. The exam objectives are important as the questions in the SCMAD cover only the topics that are reflected by the exam objectives. While you need not study beyond the scope of the exam objectives provided by Sun, it is strongly recommended that you learn all the topics within the scope of the exam objectives.
